The Glen Burnie United Methodist Women

United Methodist Women

The Glen Burnie United Methodist Women is an organization of women of the church whose primary focus is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission benefiting women, children and youth through participation in the ministries of the church.  Any woman may become a member.

The Methodist women in Glen Burnie are made up of four circles that meet monthly both day and evening from September through June.

  • Deborah Circle – second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm in room 59
  • Ruth & Rebekah – second Tuesday of the month at 10:00 am in the Social Hall
  • Sarah – second Friday of the month at 6:00 pm at Panera Bread in Pasadena

General Meetings, where all the circles come together, are held each year as well as a Spring Bazaar which provides monetary assistance to our mission projects such as: YWCA Battered Spouse Program, Susanna Wesley House, Board of Child Care and other local missions.

If you would like to join our women’s group, please contact our church office for more information.
