Traditional Sunday Worship Services
Glen Burnie United Methodist Church offers a traditional Sunday worship service in our sanctuary.
8:30 am and 11:00 am (Nursery Care provided)
Our traditional worship services at 8:30 am and 11:00 am, while not overly formal, have a structured liturgy. The congregation enjoys singing the familiar hymns of the church during the services and listening to the Chancel Choir. Although traditional in its setting and expression, the service could best be described as “blended” – bringing together an experience in worship which relates to the young and mature.
Rev. Ken McDonald, Senior Pastor, leads the services and Kathi Hiett is director of music ministry.
We also offer a contemporary service in our Social Hall at 9:45 am which is more casual and informal than our traditional worship service, with music played by the Heart Of Worship praise band.
